Reserve Bank of India has announced the recruitment of Grade B officers in General, DEPR and DISM categories. The posts this time around are more than there were on offer in 2018 with 199 posts on offer for the applicants. Eligibility criterion:

There are various eligibility criterions that are explained in detail for you as follows:

Age criterion:

All those candidates who are more than 21 years and less than 30 years are eligible to appear in the examination. In simple words, the candidate must not be born earlier than 01 September 1998 and earlier than 02^nd September 1989.

There are special rules and regulations in place for candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD and OBC candidates belonging to non-creamy layer. You can check the details in notification updated on the official website.

Educational qualification:

The second next important thing that you need to have a check upon is the educational qualification. The candidates must have done graduation with minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD). They must also have got the same grades in 12^th and 10^th standards as well.

For DEPR & DISM posts, there are special qualifications and you must get to check the notification to acquaint yourself with the same.

Application Fee:

The application fee for the general/ OBC/EWS candidates is INR 850. For those belonging to SC/ST and PWD, the application fee is INR 100 only.

Salary structure:

The thing that excites the candidates most about the RBI Grade B job is the salary structure over there. The starting salary is in the grade pay of 35150 with net in hand salary coming to approx 77000 in a month. In addition to this, there are several perks and facilities that are provided to the Grade B officers in RBI. You will also get an accommodation which is generally a 2 BHK apartment in the RBI colony.

Exam pattern:

The examination will be conducted in three phases:

• Main
• Interview

Preliminary Examination (200 marks):

The pattern of the preliminary examination is as follows:

Mains examination:

The mains examination is the real test as the marks will be calculated for final merit list. The pattern of the examination is as follows:

Interview:
